Before you book
Allow at least three days between booking and your test. Have an email address, payment card and accepted identity details ready. Enter your name exactly as it appears on the identity evidence used for the booking.
Choose a centre and prepare
The official booking service lets you choose a centre. Read its confirmation carefully and keep the appointment details. If you need disability adjustments or help accessing the centre, request them when booking.
Use the official route
Start at GOV.UK’s Life in the UK Test page and follow its booking link. Be cautious about confusing a paid preparation product with a test booking.
